Hello and welcome. I'm Lauren and I am passionate about helping LGBTQIA+ individuals and their loved ones navigate through life transitions. The majority of my practice focuses on topics related to life transitions, religious abuse, trauma recovery, identity development and family of origin issues. My approach is narrative therapy-based, attachment oriented, culturally sensitive and collaborative. My style in the counseling room is warm, explorative and transparent. NOTE: I do not currently offer couples counseling.
As a member of the community and having over 13 years of clinical experience with specialization in LGBTQ concepts, I have a unique vantage point from which to understand the intersections of LGBTQIA+ experiences. My goal is to give you the sanctity of space as we allow the therapeutic process to unfold.
