I have found, in my private practice, that people usually seek therapy when they are going through an extremely stressful time in their lives, feel increasingly depressed or anxious or feel dissatisfied with different aspects of their lives(relationships, career, life transitions). My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental atmosphere in which clients can express their feelings and gain insight into what led to their current state of mind or difficult situation.
Through self exploration and recognition of self defeating behaviors, clients can identify and change these behaviors in order to improve self-esteem, relationships in their lives and pursuit of personal and professional goals.
I provide short and long term individual and group psychotherapy for adults and adolescents.
My eclectic approach includes psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to meet the needs of each individual client as no two people are alike.
