My style is highly interactive, focused on communication, and achieving client goals. It is important to me that my clients are comfortable with me and know that I am available to them. Making life changes is not always easy, but I believe in human resiliency and strength. As an example of this philosophy, I have changed my name back to my maiden name. My mother passed away from Alzheimer's disease, and for this reason, to honor her, I wanted to take my name back... human resiliency!!!
I create a warm comfortable environment and am very active in sessions. I believe in using humor, encouragement, support, validation, and building confidence and self-esteem in every meeting. I work with a wide variety of issues, from separation, divorce, grief, ptsd, aging parents, and other life issues.
In my 35 years of practice, I have accomplished a high rate of success. I feel people connect to me quickly, and build a therapeutic relationship easily. I love what I do. I am available and empathetic.
