Each person’s story matters. Every life follows its own unique pattern of pain, depression, trauma, opportunities, joys, and despair. At times our stories can feel overwhelming, and we are unsure of what direction to take. My own life has taken many twists and turns that has motivated me to come and walk alongside others as they walk toward healing and growth.
My counseling approach is always growing and developing with in a trauma-informed lens. I want to ensure that each approach used is fit to the needs of the client, with my primary framework’s being: EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, depending on the needs of the client.
Beginning a counseling journey can be intimating for anyone. You may be sharing parts of your story that you have never shared with a stranger. My priority is in creating a space that is calm and welcoming where you can be treated with dignity and respect. My hope is that as we work together and build trust as you can work toward wholeness.
