We all face challenges in life where we feel overwhelmed and lost. Maybe experiencing low self-esteem, unresolved guilt, stress, life transitions, conflicts in relationships, unfulfilled goals, etc. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, safe space for you where you feel heard, validated, and most importantly supported. I hope that after our first session together you will walk away with better clarity of your situation, more confidence in yourself, and a feeling of relief.
My passion as a counselor is empowering clients to make the connections to make positive changes in their lives by offering a safe and empathetic counseling experience. I like to create opportunities for growth, and therefore my clients should expect to be challenged in ways that will allow for ongoing learning.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with about 23 years of experience working in a variety of areas of mental health. I learned my Bachelor in Psychology from Universidad del Valle Atemajac, Guadalajara, Jal. Mexico and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona.
