I believe that everyone has their own journey that they are struggling with, and that often this journey is misunderstood and unidentified. I aim to help my clients understand their inner world, in order to help them understand how to help live a fulfilling and engaging life. I enjoy helping my clients understand the neurological basis of their actions, and help them change their response through a variety of interventions. I enjoy working with clients who recognize that their pain does not have to be their story, but can be the blocks on which they begin to recognize how to build a future that brings them joy.
My focus throughout my career has been in Multi-systemic therapy (MST), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), CBT, Trauma and PTSD, domestic abuse, depression and anxiety, LGBTQ + Community, domestic violence, cultural concerns, sexual assault, parenting, and adolescent challenges. I work with youth 12-18, couples, families, and adults.
I have experience working in a multitude of settings ranging from nonprofit, medical, county and courts, shelters and group homes. I have experienced the limitless potential of those who are given the support of someone who believes in them.
