As a counselor, I wholeheartedly support transformational healing for all clients. I practice from a person-centered, trauma-informed viewpoint with the aim of empowering my clients to not only choose to change but to embrace their change. I walk alongside clients in their journey towards hope and healing, utilizing a strengths-based approach, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and key concepts of both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, who struggle with unique life challenges. I work with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic suicidality, mood disorders, personality disorders, and body image/self-esteem/self-worth. Though my greatest passion and specialty lies in the treatment of eating disorders.
