Hello! I'm Laura and I'm glad you found your way to my page. I believe that connection with others/ourselves is rooted in feeling truly seen, heard, and understood; and so my intent is to offer clients a safe and trusting therapuetic space to feel supported enough to share some of their innermost thoughts & feeling about themselves and their lives - perhaps for the first time. I often work with clients who are experiencing anxiety & depression, relationship issues with themselves, partners/spouse, familial), neurodivergence, LGTBQIA+, trauma/CPTSD - all of which can influence ones overall mental health and sense of wellbeing.
Via empathetic listening, compassion, and some humor (or attempted!), I encourage clients to share their joys and struggles, as well as the parts we may keep hidden from others due to feeling shamed, ignored, or stigmatized. It is a privilege to learn about your experiences, and to explore how the past may be influencing the present moments
