I believe that it takes courage for a person to reach out for support and that the first steps for counseling support can be difficult. When one makes this leap of faith, I believe they are passionate and should be encouraged to learn, grow, and heal. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space so that the therapeutic relationship can be nurtured. I believe in a collaborative process and abide by confidentiality rules and ethics. I believe all my clients are resilient, capable, and have inner strength to make positive changes, and look forward to taking this journey with them.
I have been in the field for 20 years and continue to enhance my skills through trainings so I can effectively treat my clients. I am a certified drug and alcohol counselor and can support the client and family through the recovery process. I have worked with teenagers and adults to address the challenges they face and eliminate barriers to success.
Allowing clients to feel comfortable and confident while increasing their sense of belonging promotes healthy relationships and positive self-esteem. I hope that I am able to help one flourish in order to attain their goals and overcome obstacles.
