We often create a story about our lives that is untrue or unkind. We become bound by shame, guilt or negative self-perceptions. These views shape how we show up in the world and dictate what we feel we deserve and what we can achieve. Four principles of my therapeutic practice include: addressing shame, challenging negative core beliefs, building self-awareness and creating self-efficacy.
I primarily draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy & mindfulness based self-compassion. In an environment of acceptance, compassion, structure and accountability, we can work together to create the growth you would like to see. I believe we are each unique and value the importance of tailoring my approach to your specific needs.
