Hello! I'm Laura :) Maybe you're here because it's time to make a change and you're not sure where to start. Or maybe you just want someone to truly hear you. No matter the reason, I’ll meet you where you’re at. In the therapeutic process, I’ll hold space for your pain, help make room for your joy, and act as your guide in bravely exploring your inner world. And since this therapy thing can be hard, we'll make sure to have some laughs along the way and be gentle in our process.
I specialize in working with older teens and adults who have lived through trauma and who desire to meet themselves more intimately. Mindfulness, authenticity, skill coaching, and trauma informed interventions are core to my practice. I'm also an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician and hold non-judgmental space for those navigating their gender and sexual identity.
Life can be brutal, and I believe we were never meant to tackle it alone. So, I'll bring my expertise as a clinician, you bring your expertise on yourself, and we'll work towards building you a rich and meaningful life together.

Skills and Support for Parents of Teens
A virtual group for parents to build effective skills and improve connection with their teen. In this 6 week series you will learn and practice the following: Week 1: Introduction and the Teenage Brain - What changes to expect and how to spot them. Week 2: Calming the storm - Helping your teen (and you!) manage the roller coaster of emotion. Week 3: Setting boundaries and providing consequences. Week 4: Skills for improving communication and reducing tension. Week 5: Keeping your Teen safe -Education, skills, and resources for when crisis happens. Week 6: Parenting skill review and takeaways
