Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon and have been practicing since 2019. Prior to this, I earned my certification as an Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I) in 2014 while working with unhoused folks in a shelter in Corvallis setting providing wrap-around services to mandated and self-referred clients in addictions and domestic violence intervention. I grew up in Oakland CA, and for those who have never been, social justice and social welfare are constantly relevant topics in education and in passing
Over my life and career, I developed and furthered my passions for adults trying to help their families through insurmountable circumstances, such as poverty, addiction, violence, immigration, isolation, medical services, the criminal justice system, and other traumas.
I also developed a passion for dissociative disorders and their relationship to trauma, stress, and neurodiversity. I work with adults ages 18-65 and believe in a humanistic philosophy based on social justice, critical theories, and integrated, structured approaches as-needed.
