Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a licensed independent clinical social worker who provides treatment for anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive behavior, depression, life transitions, and more. Whether online or in-person, each of my clients are met with an empathic and non-judgmental approach. As a provider, I recognize the isolation and debilitation that comes with experiencing a mental illness. Thus, I aim to acknowledge, validate, and advocate for the experiences of each client. I provide individual counseling that focuses on the whole person. My approach is to consider all aspects of a person's life in the healing process.
Together, we will collaborate on goals for sustainable change and a treatment plan tailored to your needs. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based CBT, Exposure and Response therapy (ERT), strengths-based & narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care.
