My approach to therapy prioritizes developing an understanding of who you are as an individual, and focusing on your unique strengths and abilities. Past and present experiences, relationships, genetics, biology all impact the way you are in the world, but you have something unique to offer.

My clients describe my style as warm and direct. I have worked as a therapist for 14 years, and am well trained in various therapy styles. Whether you are interested in learning coping strategies for symptoms, or need to work on a complex relationship with yourself and/or others, I can help.

I have specialized training working with clients who are coping with past and present traumas, mood disorders, abuse, neglect, and major life transitions. I frequently work in various creative communities in Chicago, supporting artists, writers, and musicians in their work.
