I have specialized in working with different ages over the past almost 3 decades and now get to work with them ALL. I creatively engage children/adolescents with interventions tailored to individual needs. I equip & support my clients' parents/guardians from a parent and clinician perspective. My favorite job of all time was directing a college counseling center as young adulthood is an ideal time for intervention to build resiliency and equip for the future. I want to meet adult clients in the midst of their challenges, crises, mental health struggles, and just plain life.
I work with individuals, couples, and families with a wide variety of issues. I have special interest in trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, emotional components of sensory processing disorder, and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). I have completed EMDR basic training and continue to train towards certification.
I work from a Christian worldview and am experienced in integrating Christian spirituality with psychotherapy (but only integrate faith with client permission). I want treatment to be a collaborative effort and for my clients to know that I really care about them. I am privileged to journey with them.
