It is my goal to work alongside an individual to recognize, encourage and remind them of their strengths and capabilities. I believe that trust, respect and authenticity are vital in the counseling relationship and that humor should be incorporated into life whenever possible. I work to holistically treat individuals/couples and I offer services for adult patients with a variety of backgrounds and diagnoses.
Every individual is unique, so I use an integrative approach to counseling pulling from a variety of different philosophy, technique and styles to meet an individual's needs. I am experienced in helping others to navigate trauma (relational and situational). I am trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused CBT and I utilize CBT, DBT and ACT in working with clients.
