As we encounter new life stages, we often come face to face with our deepest doubts and fears. Finding the courage to work through these to achieve lasting personal growth requires a safe and structured space for telling our stories and unraveling the knots that cause us pain. As a therapist with twenty years of experience, my approach to providing such a space is client-focused, holistic, and collaborative. I specialize in helping my clients navigate academic challenges, intimate relationships, family dynamics, cultural integration, and life transitions.
Trained at the University of Michigan Psychological Clinic and Depression Center, I draw on a variety of well-established practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and attachment-informed psychodynamic exploration to help clients grow and thrive. For those struggling with sleep difficulties, I am also certified to offer CBT-i insomnia treatment.
The upheavals of recent years have brought new emotional challenges and aggravated long-standing struggles for many of us. My aim is to support my clients in confronting these challenges through empathy, compassion, and understanding, and to help them to achieve greater awareness, resiliency, and self-reliance.
