I work from a person-centered perspective. I am able to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Mindfulness, and many other therapy techniques as they fit for the client’s needs. I am especially experienced in working with those who have intellectual disabilities due to my extensive background in providing direct care. I am also well versed in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community as I identify as member in the community.
I will work with any age group, I view myself as versatile. I have a lot of experience with trauma both personally and professionally, as well as LGBTQIA+ struggles/concerns. I worked with persons with intellectual disabilities for many years and consider myself experienced in that area. I have been trained in Play Therapy as of 2021.
