Because the path towards recovery and growth is difficult, I try to make the journey as enjoyable as possible. While providing empirically supported treatments, I mix in irreverence, bad puns, and a youthful energy.
I have many years of training and a wealth of experience in treating a wide arrange of issues with both teens and adults including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, eating disorders, substance use, OCD, and PTSD. I work to custom tailor treatment to your needs and have flexibility as well as creativity to work with unique and complex issues.
I have specialty training in working with survivors of childhood abuse using a novel treatment called Contextual Trauma Therapy. This treatment aims to help recover not only from the trauma itself, but also the dysfunctional environment in which it occurs. My skillset is uniquely built to address the wide array of issues that can result from trauma.
