My passion is to help people deal with their emotional pain caused by various kinds of issues, including family of origin, interpersonal problems, low self-esteem, loss of loved ones, trauma, life transitions and etc. In general, I aim to help my clients improve their mood, feel empowered to handle difficult situations in life, and thrive in relationships.
I hold unconditional positive regard (showing complete support and acceptance) toward my clients. I also pay great attention to cultural sensitivity in therapy. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients improve their mood by adjusting their thoughts. I am fluent in English and Chinese, both Mandarin and Cantonese.
