I am a licensed community-based clinical social worker with ten years post masters experience. I received my masters from New York University Silver School of Social Work. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma with a focus on institutionalized racism, separation, and insecure attachments. I utilizes a multi-faceted theoretical approach to treatment that includes interpersonal therapy, trauma-focus therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy. My focus is to help individuals improve emotion regulation, interpersonal difficulties, and family challenges.
Throughout my career I have worn many hats. I have worked in the private and public sector focusing on developing strong therapeutic relationships that foster trust and collaboration. My approach is supportive and non-judgmental. I focus on self-exploration in order to aid clients in reaching their goals, improving their lives, and feeling empowered.
