Do you need a safe, open, non-judgmental space to talk through life's challenges? I am committed to providing a safe space to the people of Tennessee. It is challenging to live in a region where you fear your views, thoughts, and philosophies don't align with the people around you. I am a queer and LGBTQ+ safe and affirming space. My old pup, Cosmo, loves to work with me (read: does not like to be left home alone). He will be in session unless otherwise requested (see his pic listed below).
I have worked with adolescents and adults experiencing things like depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, gender, non-binary and/or sexuality dysphoria, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, religious trauma, and life transitions. I am a member of Postpartum Support International and have 10+ years of experience working with women in the perinatal period.
I believe therapy is like other important relationships – it is often based on trust and the willingness to be open and honest. I will help guide you through challenging times in life while validating your experience and empowering you to make changes when necessary. I enjoy using meditation and mindfulness in my practice as requested by clients.
