As a Licensed Independent Clinical Associate Social Worker, I am dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to improve mental health and overall well-being. With 24 years of experience in behavioral health and social work, I am committed to facilitating the healing journey from traumas, such as divorce, religious/spiritual abuse, childhood sexual exposure/abuse, narcissistic experiences, workplace bullying, dementia, grief, and loss.
A Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and diverse professional experience, including emergency police communications and then supporting individuals in a sizable jail. This journey has privileged me to collaborate with individuals across the lifespan, addressing mental health, trauma, abuse, depression, anger, and anxiety.
Research unveiled how early adversity, "Adverse Childhood Experiences" (ACEs), shape individuals' developing brains and bodies. Today, adults grapple with understanding their behaviors and responses to life's challenges. The time is ripe to uncuff yourself from past trauma and shame; I am here to assist with empathy and insight for healing and growth.
