I have a military background have seen the impact of trauma on both the individuals who experienced it and their loved ones. I completed the Mental Health Counseling program with a concentration in art therapy at the University of Indianapolis.
As an art therapist, one of my approaches to therapy is to use art therapy combined with person-centered CBT and DBT. Art therapy provides an outlet for those things that are difficult to express and put into words. No previous art experience or ability required!
I have worked with children in both school-based and outpatient settings, as well as a time working with refugee children. I have also worked with adults with a variety of struggles, including PTSD, substance use, anxiety, and depression. I look forward to helping you on your healing journey!
