Clients of all ages beginning at age 4 thru adult enjoy the personal experience of working in a customized cognitive exercise program with a personal brain trainer to experience gains in cognitive function whether it has been lost due to dementia, TBI, learning disabilities, disease, cancer treatments or simply aging. Some clients attend our center weekly just for a tune up to stay sharp and focused. Whatever the need in cognitive function, we will customize a program for you or refer you to a valid resource in our community.

Welcome to my practice. I work with children 4 years old and up, adults, families and couples. I work with children using different skills of play therapy, behavior modification, learning to communicate effectively. I do my best to help all my clients feel comfortable so you are able to enjoy the counseling atmosphere I have to provide. I help parents with discipline education, behavior modification, advocating for your child, encouraging positive, honest and open communication, and establish routine/structured environment. I work with couples in fair fighting, relationship conflict resolution, and positive communication.

My approach to therapy is best described with this analogy: We are on a road trip, you are driving, and I have the map. There are many routes we can take to reach our destination and we will work together to determine which route is best for your journey. My name is TaLisia Williams and I am the owner of A New Beginning Counseling Services, LLC. I started my practice in 2018. I understand the help that is needed to assist others while going through difficult times. I work with clients of different ages and backgrounds. My experience includes working in inpatient treatment facilities on the addiction unit, as well as IOP and PHP. I have worked with juvenile delinquents in group homes. I have also worked in the court systems in which I provided group counseling through adult drug court.
