I offer therapy to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with a wide array of challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, grief and loss, substance abuse, addiction, anger management, self-esteem, and identity concerns, and life transitions. My practice includes marginalized communities like LGBTQIA individuals, trauma survivors, and those with substance use and co-occurring disorders, with a focus on trauma-informed care. Being an immigrant myself, I understand the unique needs of immigrants from various backgrounds.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with a variety of clients, many of whom have a trauma background. I use EMDR, AIT and DBT in my sessions. The clinician-client relationship is important and flexibility with treatment is necessary in achieving change. We work together to get you to where you want to be. I am here for you for the purpose of helping you heal your mind, body & spirit through the innovative and somatic technique of Brainspotting which some call “the new EMDR”. I also offer other counseling modalities such as parts work, talk therapy, visual meditation, inner child work, play & art therapy techniques in order to help you heal trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, & the difficulties of life in general.

A throughline of my work revolves around the realm of disabilities, many of which remain unrecognized by others. I believe that disability advocacy requires working through issues of power, autonomy, social inequality, and environment.

In our work together, we will unpack both present day issues and underlying early life experiences. I often draw upon person-centered and emotion-focused approaches, but ultimately, I allow you to take the lead to make the most of our time together.

My ideal client is anyone suffering from chemical or process addiction (gambling, sex, food, etc) or alcoholism. Addiction and alcoholism are tremendously destructive forces that leave us feeling alone, isolated, and often defeated, but this can be overcome and recovery is possible.
