I was intrigued and attended a Level One Gottman training in San Francisco. It was fortunate that this was a training with both John and Julie Gottman - I was hooked on the Gottman Method of couple counseling and embarked on the intensive 2 year training necessary to obtain certification in the Gottman method. The Gottmans are at the leading edge of thought in the field of couple counseling. Their methods are based on 40 years of research with thousands of couples.
