We are a private practice Counseling Center in West Monroe, La. We have 10 Counselors as well as a Registered Dietician who practice in our West Monroe office. I am committed to providing quality mental health services. It is my goal to minimize the anxiety and stress associated with counseling services by normalizing treatment as much as we do going to our medical doctors when we are ill.

I work with adults who have experienced challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, family separation, and stress.

My philosophy in counseling is about building rapport, engaging the client, assisting with goal-setting, and encouraging ongoing work outside of sessions, to achieve maximum benefits. I believe that feeling expression, focusing on strengths and learning empowerment make the client successful. I will be with you every step of the way to work through any struggles that arise. If your struggles go beyond my scope of practice at any point, I will refer you to another professional that can better suit your needs.

Sometimes life is big and sometimes it's bigger than it has to be. Each of us face unexpected and unavoidable circumstances. Each of us run the risk of allowing small matters to build up into big frustrations.

My ideal client is seeking increased freedom to remove barriers to growth, and to work toward meeting self-identified goals while building on current strengths. Whether struggling with worrisome anxiety, feeling too depressed to enjoy, or behaving in ways that the client wants to change, I tend to take a person-centered, supportive approach to helping. Clients benefit from solution-focused approaches while increasing self-awareness to identify and use strengths, for greater ease of handling life's ups and downs, using clear, simple self-management tools and effective coping. I use psycho-education to ensure client's self-efficacy.
