I enjoy working with children and adults in a personalized approach tailored to each patient's unique situation. My theoretical background is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, but I pull from many sources in creating a treatment plan. I enjoy tackling diagnostic puzzles and working closely with patients and families to get to the bottom of what causes disruption in someone's life. Most consider me direct and no nonsense. I trained in Exposure Response Prevention for OCD treatment in both children and adults and enjoy these treatment challenges.

I am a therapist who specializes in trauma, grief, addiction, codependency, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and self-compassion. Shona Marie Dabrowski is a New Orleans native who earned her Bachelor degree from the University of New Orleans. Shona received her Master's in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans and is now a LCSW. Mrs. Dabrowski has several years of experience working with various populations and age groups.
