With 15 years of experience, Tara Lemon Bleakley MA, LPC currently practices general counseling with a focus in the following areas: behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, stress, problems with self-esteem, relationship problems, transitioning problems, parenting, step parenting, divorce, blended family issues, marital issues, trauma related issues, pregnancy issues, infertility and oppositional defiant disorder.

The populations I work with are pre-teens, teens, young adults, adults, and couples. My techniques vary based on the needs of the client, ultimately I want to make the client feel comfortable with the therapy process.

I have over 30 years experience in the mental health field. My specialties include treating Depression, Anxiety, and Grief. I work with adults using CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy. My practice focuses on personal growth issues and supportive therapy. I also focus on teaching and/or reinforcing coping skills.

I have worked in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings with adolescents, adults, and elders in individual, family, couples, and group treatment dealing with a wide range of therapeutic issues. However, I believe my most important qualification is a compassionate heart for helping people heal brokenness in their lives, make lasting changes, and live freely. My approach to counseling recognizes a person's spirituality as the central organizing principal around which lasting mental health and strong relationships may be achieved. Couples face a wide range of challenges in their relationships. I am here to work with you to build a more secure, intimate relationship that supports your emotional, sexual and spiritual connection.
