My clients often are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and anxious because of life changes and constant feelings of worry and overwhelm. The kids, teens, and young adults I work with often need to feel heard and set goals of better understanding their big emotions. A major part of this work is including parents and caregivers to provide tools and strategies that can help at home. My clients often have trouble expressing their deepest feelings and want to have better relationships with friends and family. Anxiety sometimes feels like it gets in the way of close relationships, but, together, we can discover new ways to reconnect.

Bad patterns of behavior are what create stress and unhappiness in our lives. I've worked with addictions of all kinds, ranging from eating disorders to substance abuse to codependency to process addictions (think nail-biting, smoking, gambling, shopping, etc). But bad habits, addiction or otherwise, frequently have effects on those around us, which is why I've also accumulated years of experience working with couples and families. Whether you're dealing with a behavior you'd like to alter or a relationship you'd like to improve, change is possible.

Accepting new clients! I help with a range of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, work stress, life transitions, family or other relationship stress, and body image concerns. I always listen to my clients and address their needs and make sure that they are getting the maximum benefit out of therapy and are working towards achieving their short, medium, and long term goals. I always tailor my therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs of each client, and I work hard to accommodate their scheduling needs, day or night, as well as their budget.
