What is keeping you from feeling fully alive in each moment? I offer a warm atmosphere to address whatever is keeping you from feeling fully alive. I believe that pain and struggles in life can be turned into opportunities to grow and find more peace in both our lives and relationships. My belief is that healing happens in the context of a supportive and nonjudgmental relationship. My work focuses on helping people develop the skills they need to thrive and to discover things in themselves that may be preventing them from experiencing a genuine connection with others.

Most of my clients are ordinary people who have been sexually abused as children or adults, or are from alcoholic families, or are struggling with alcoholism in their current life. They may be having difficulty adjusting to changing circumstaaances in their lives due to divorce or loss of a family member or friend. Many of my clients are experiencing depression or anxiety or chronic worry.

Having worked with individuals age 5 and up in schools and private practice, I use an existential-humanistic approach to address a host of presenting issues. I have helped clients with anxiety, depression, neurodiversity issues (including ADHD, gifted learners, and Autism Spectrum-related issues), emotional regulation, trauma, and navigating family and life transitions. I am LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity affirming. I strive to provide an environment of safety and trust for clients to explore presenting issues. I also believe in collaborating with clients to build therapeutic goals and to achieve them by cultivating individual strengths.
