In having the client come into the session willing to seek help, my goal is to create goals that align with your views, perspectives, and ideas. I believe it is important to create goals with the clients that align with their views and work together!

So many of us want and need validation. I have clients express relief when they hear they are not alone with how they feel or act. Some just want to be heard...to have someone truly listen. Many struggle with low self esteem or feel awkward in social settings. I believe a person’s physical well-being is related to their emotional and spiritual self. If one is out of sync, it affects the rest. Everyone wants to be happy! I am prepared to help individuals find their own happy and healthy balance in life!

Welcome to my practice. I work with children 4 years old and up, adults, families and couples. I work with children using different skills of play therapy, behavior modification, learning to communicate effectively. I do my best to help all my clients feel comfortable so you are able to enjoy the counseling atmosphere I have to provide. I help parents with discipline education, behavior modification, advocating for your child, encouraging positive, honest and open communication, and establish routine/structured environment. I work with couples in fair fighting, relationship conflict resolution, and positive communication.

My love for helping others overcome life challenges stems from my early days in college when I was a member of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. This organization introduced me to community based service projects that were life changing. It was in these early days that I had the rewarding opportunity to change lives and help others see bright possibilities for their future. Through counseling I am able to continue to help others by empowering individuals and families from a strengths based perspective.

Patricia Carr is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 12 years of therapy experience. She often works with adults and adolescents who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, troubling relationship patterns, grief, and major life changes.

I enjoy helping individuals and families learn how to help themselves. Each of my clients is unique, and therefore deserves a unique treatment plan, collaborating with his/her lifestyle and his/her willingness for growth and change.

Michael Curry is a nationally certified Licensed Professional Counselor who has over 10 years experience in the mental health field. Michael specializes in couples and marital counseling, family issues, ADHD, depression, anxiety, phobias, grief, mood disorders, and adjustment disorders, and trauma. Michael completed his Master's of Applied Science Professional Counseling program at Liberty University with his internship completed at Brentwood Mental Health Hospital in Shreveport Louisiana.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and I work with children and adults, including individuals, couples, and families. I enjoy working with people of all ages, and especially teenagers. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families find balance and harmony by building self-awareness, creating healthier and effective behaviors, and cultivating joy.

Over the past decade, I have served in various roles, including child protection specialist for the state and a licensed social worker within the education system. My expertise extends to navigating Bulletin 1508, 504 plans, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Specializing in supporting children, adolescents, and families, I address challenges such as learning disabilities, ADHD, anger outbursts, depression, relationship issues, academic concerns, and anxiety.

My ideal client is one that recognizes he or she has issues that need to be addressed through counseling and are ready to take the challenge of identifying those issues and tackle them head on.
