Let's start this journey together. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, family issues and relational concerns. I offer therapy services to individuals, couples and families. My goal is to provide a safe and caring environment in which healing can take place. My approach to therapy is supportive and solution oriented.

For personal and professional reasons my clinical practice is currently closed for the foreseeable future. I will continue to be accessible by telephone for those wishing to contact me. In the past, I have asked people to spend a few minutes writing down what they wish to accomplish prior to engaging in an activity. Two or three goal statements are sufficient. Experience and research have shown that this method is most effective when the goals are specific and measurable. It is my hope that this will provide a clear sense of direction.

Detrica 'Dee' Freeman is an LPC, LAC and registered Mediator. She has extensive experience in psychotherapy, group therapy, CBT, substance abuse, relationships, and basically..... life; the good, the bad, and the struggles. Dee applies a person centered therapeutic approach to treatment. She employs the belief that the client is in charge of his/her individual growth; her role is to help facilitate a safe space that will encourage that growth.

I assist clients looking to grow as an individual or within a relationship as a couple, in learning more about themselves and the patterns of behaviors that have caused them to feel stuck, lost, or alone.
