As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over six years of experience, I have had the privilege of helping strong individuals on their journey to live their best life. Many have been coping with substance abuse, depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, panic attacks, chronic pain, co-occuring disorders, low self-worth, codependency and phobias. I have a background facilitating group therapy sessions for adults in recovery and lead family and couples sessions as well as individual counseling sessions.

John Otzenberger, Psy. D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with almost 30 years of experience working with a variety of populations, including children (ages 10 and older), adolescents and adults. Most recently, Dr. Otzenberger served as the Director of Mental Health Services at the LSU Student Health Center, overseeing a team of clinicians that provides psychological care for more than 32,000 students. As a trained Adlerian psychologist, Dr. Otzenberger’s goal is to help clients develop a sense of social connection through the positive development of relationships within family, school, work, and community.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Clients that I have worked with present with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life changes, women's issues and relationship issues. I have a lot of experience with healing from codependency as well as healing from relationships with emotionally immature parents. I believe in fostering change in people by identifying their inner strengths and working collaboratively towards positive progress!
