Welcome! In your search to find a counselor, you have taken the first step to healing and finding balance in your or your loved one's life. Picking someone to guide you or a loved one in making change is difficult and can be overwhelming. My specialty is helping women and adolescents overcome trauma, suicidal thoughts/self harm behaviors, anxiety, as well as finding balance with transitional life issues. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, relaxed atmosphere to help make lasting change leading to a life worth living for you or loved one utilizing a client focused approach.
I have been fortunate to receive training in evidence-based therapies to include DBT, CBT and Trauma-Focused CBT. In venturing out into private practice, I have found a special calling in working with women/adolescents in overcoming trauma, transitions, and finding a work/life balance. .
In order to better fit the needs of our clients, I work to meet clients where they are in life, and offer after hour and limited Saturday appointments.
