My work is a privilege. I work with clients regarding a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, work-life balance and relationships. By developing an atmosphere of genuine acceptance and collaboration clients and I work toward their particular goals - whether that is feeling better or leading richer, more meaningful lives. I am also deeply appreciative of the role that spirituality and faith plays in a person's life and I am comfortable integrating spirituality if a client prefers.
I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT is a short-term counseling approach that has been shown to be effective for treating a variety of problems and helping individuals to cope with difficult life situations more effectively.
Rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy I also take a holistic approach to counseling that builds on each client's strengths.
