Welcome to Oak Counseling! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my primary population is children, adolescents, and those transitioning to adulthood. I enjoy getting to know each client individually to learn the best approach to individualize their therapy experience. This often includes strength-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused approaches to aid clients work through individual goals, barriers, and strengths via their personal skill sets and strengths.
I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, life transitions, ADHD, and behavioral/emotional regulation. I have training and experience working in-home settings with de-escalation, Bipolar Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I also provide parent support sessions as a part of a treatment plan as needed.
