I bring the ability to deeply hear the narratives clients are living and create a therapeutic environment where healing and transformation become possible. I focus on treating clients who have lived through complex childhood trauma and its effects, and those living with the effects of marginalization, adoptive and/or foster narratives, and perfectionism. I also enjoy helping with relationships, body image, OCD, self-discovery, identity development, grief/loss, and parenting. My integrative approach meets clients where they are and invites a process that includes the mind, heart, and body in growing self-awareness and wellness.
This is me and one of my three bunnies, Misty Moon.
As a person with both privileged and oppressed identities and diverse life experiences, I find meaning in helping others navigate this world that brings confusion, frustration, and pain; but also richness, joy, and resilience. I conceptualize through an anti-oppression lens, trauma theory, and depth psychology for an integrated, customized approach.
After being in the field of psychology for over 20 years, I am still deeply fulfilled by this meaningful work. Each person is an unfolding mystery. It is an honor to be a part of the process. I have experience with depth psych, ART, anti-racism, polyvagal, parts work, ACT, self-compassion, attachment theory, ,and embodiment. I look forward to meeting you!
