I am passionate about supporting other to create lives they want while honoring the strengths they already have. Identifying and building upon these strengths allows positive change to unfold. I have found that having a stable, trusted guide there to assist and support the growth process is crucial, and I bring this attitude to my practice. I greet each client where they are at with non-judgmental curiosity and gentle encouragement.
I have found that healing is not linear, respecting your own pace is paramount, and that being able to balance deep work with self-compassion and humor is also incredibly useful. Defining and creating the life you want to live is also often a journey from surviving to thriving, which is my hope and intention for anyone I work with.
I operate from a strengths-based, client-centered perspective. I believe that people are the experts on their own lives. As a therapist, I will support you by holding compassionate space for you to explore your concerns. My therapeutic approach is trauma and social justice informed. I draw upon a variety of evidence-based practices to suit the individual.
