Maybe those you love the most have hurt you or you’ve hurt them. Perhaps you know logically how you’d like to interact with healthy sexuality, but your reality is far from that. I get all of that. I work with clients for these reasons and more. I help clients not only become unstuck, but find their lost, true self so they can walk in freedom and renewed relationships.
My trainings in EMDR and Brainspotting assist in helping clients discover the roots of traumas. I’m also trained to work with clients wrestling with pornography addiction and unwanted sexual behaviors with advanced training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT) candidate. I am also qualified to work with partners experiencing betrayal trauma.
I love working with teenagers, young adults, couples, and families. In my former job, I worked at a treatment center for males aged 14 to 26 and their families. When working with my clients, I draw from multiple therapeutic styles including systemic approaches, polyvagal theory, attachment-based theories, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral theory.
