I work relationally and humanistically with patients. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am warm, empathic, and believe humor can be a powerful force for healing. Late stage capitalism, climate and environmental destruction, a digital age that often makes us feel more isolated; There are many sources of pain and suffering in our modern world in addition to our individual stressors and traumas. My journey as a therapist began as a lifeline counselor for The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention lifeline for LGBTQ youth. I studied Social Work as a graduate student at New York University. I received postgraduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I am trained in the use of EMDR from the Parnell Institute.
I provide a safe and supportive environment within my practice where patients can work toward a deeper understanding of themselves. I hope to facilitate self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love. I look forward to meeting you for a consultation.
