My passion is to help clients recognize the true root issues that are occurring, given their specific symptoms, with the goal of addressing these issues in order to lead healthy and hopeful lives. My passion is utilizing techniques from primarily Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatment modalities, as well as others that seem best suited for each individual client. I have utilized these approaches to successfully help individuals overcome grief, trauma, loss, and poor self-esteem issues, among other things.

I enjoy working with people who are wanting to make positive changes in their lives from the comfort of their home using Telehealth services in Kentucky. I can help you work through your life stressors, chronic trauma or sort through issues and concerns you have, to find clarity. I want someone who is tired of how things are, wanting to move forward in their life. I have always had a passion for helping others, even at a young age. In my practice I work with children, teens, and young adults with a variety of different needs. I have experience with working with clients of all ages with anxiety, depression, those who have experienced trauma, and those who need a little help adjusting to life’s changes and challenges.

I may not have all the answers or be able to take away the pain and hardships you have or are enduring but I will provide you with the support needed to recognize your self worth, and understand that you know what is best for you. I will give you the room to access your own realizations and work with you to make the hard stuff easier. I understand, taking the first step to reach out for help is hard. Lindsey graduated with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University in 2008, and has been working directly with children, adolescents and families since 2009. Lindsey specializes in working with issues of trauma, crisis, grief, child and adolescent defiance, anxiety and adjustment to life changes. Other areas of expertise include Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders and ADHD. Lindsey is skilled and has received training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Reality Therapy among additional interventions. Lindsey is dedicated to empowering youth and families to promote a life of health, hope and growth.

Amy has over 20 years of experience in the social work field, over 15 years in Clinical Christian Counseling and is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor. She enjoys helping clients of all ages reach their goals in a safe, encouraging environment. Amy offers counseling services to children, families, adults, and couples, employing evidence-based counseling modalities such as Temperament Counseling, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy in her sessions.
