As a marriage and family therapist, I am passionate about helping adolescents, individuals, and couples put their fear in its place so that they can go about the business of living! I believe in helping people break out of painful emotional ruts and destructive thought patterns that are holding them back. I help individuals discover their own voice, their own boundaries, and improve their communication and connectivity to self and others. Embedded within each of us is the ability to grow and discover our authenticity.

I am fortunate and profoundly grateful to have found my passion (which also happens to be my career) in supporting people across the lifespan - children, teens, adults and families through struggles and challenges due to chronic medical conditions, anxiety, trauma, grief, parenting that our lives and our chaotic world present. I use an eclectic approach rooted in neuroscience and relational neurobiology to meet you where you are with what works for you.

These are challenging times. As your therapist, I want to work with you to provide a helping hand, an ear to listen and a soothing voice. I’m a believer in finding each individual’s strengths and incorporating them into treatment. The sand tray, storytellling, and expessive arts are for all ages and no talent needed just an open mind. Traditional talk therapy is always an option and I meet each client where they are at for that session.

I specialize in working with those who struggle with traumatic experiences especially sexual abuse and domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and loss of ability to control anger impulses in children/adolescents. Ideally, I want each client I work with to leave with a sense of hope for the future. I come from a person centered, trauma informed, and strengths based approach to help you on your journey of growth.

I am a Licensed Professional Art Therapist in Kentucky, a nationally Board-Certified Art Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin. I am also an artist, herbalist, and aromatherapist. Theoretically I use an eclectic approach, evaluating the needs of my clients and using the most appropriate techniques and interventions. I draw most heavily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Jungian Analytical Psychology, Person-Centered Theory, and Existential Theory.

Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and brings years of experience of working with children and families. She has been trained as an adoption specialist and has experience working as a school counselor and in community mental health. In her practice, she sees children and teens, in addition to families and adults. She is trained in EMDR therapy as well as Trauma Focused CBT. She is passionate about helping families navigate tough times. She considers it an honor to come alongside her clients and help those struggling with anxiety, depression, behavior issues, family conflict and more.

It is my deep belief that we each strive to be our best selves. This journey can be difficult and requires that we are able to recognize our own personal strengths and values. Clients should see the results of therapy in a measurable amount of time. This belief is where I begin treatment with the clients presenting problem guiding services.

In addition to being a licensed counselor, I am also a committed Christian and practice in a Christian counseling center. I work with individuals: teenagers (14+) and adults of various ages and with a variety of issues. Although my experience is not limited to these, specific areas of focus include the following: depression, anxiety, high-functioning autism, adoption-related issues, alcoholism and eating disorders, spiritual struggles, and general life issues. I am interested in working with people who are ready to improve the quality of their life.
