As a therapist, I work with clients who are teens and adults. In our therapeutic relationship and work, I help clients gain control over their lives and help them learn to cope and understand whatever issues they come with. I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, addiction, anxiety, grief, and other concerns that people may deal with on a daily basis. My goal in my therapeutic abilities is to assist clients in understanding their problems and guide them to become the best possible version of themselves.

Hello! My name is Heather James. I am a LPCC and LCADC in the state of KY. I work with clients 15 and older presenting with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, mood, substance abuse, stress induced disorders, trauma, and relationship conflict. I provide individual and marriage counseling to improve functionality of the individual, family, and partner needs. I have experience in the equine industry and understand the life style of an equestrian.

I chose to pursue a career in mental health because of my passion for helping people to experience wholeness and to walk in freedom. Throughout my time in practice, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and in many different seasons of life by offering hope, support, and new tools to empower and equip on the journey toward health and healing. I've practiced in a variety of different treatment settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential levels of care. Lucy Bailey provides psychotherapy in the state of Kentucky as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her passion and fascination have always been for people and their story. She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, in the city of New York. Lucy has also served as an adjunct professor for the school of social work at the University of Kentucky, teaching masters level students social welfare policy and analysis, and the importance of advocacy in various social settings.
