My ideal client is dealing with issues surrounding anxiety, depression, and grief. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am also a Registered Nurse and am skilled in working with clients who struggle with a wide variety of health problems. I am looking for clients who are dedicated to improving their lives by learning to overcome or better cope with their personal struggles.
I focus on building my clients' coping skills primarily using CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) skills and creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where they feel safe, can be honest about their needs and challenges, and grow into the person they want to be.
I believe my clients possess the innate ability to help themselves become a better version of who they are. I envision my role as a guide who exists to help them find their way in a complex world and develop the skills and self-knowledge to flourish.
