I have a MS in Counseling Psychology, a graduate certification in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Avila University, and a BS in Developmental Psychology from the University of Kansas. I work with all age groups and specialize in Anxiety, Depression, Adjustment disorders, and Trauma.

Your teen looks like they have it all together, but you know deep down something is “off.” They aren’t as interested in attending school activities or hanging out with friends as they were. They avoid discussing their daily school activities. Things that hadn’t been prior issues (what to wear to school) suddenly create come-aparts. At times they are hanging on by a thread, and so are you! The anxiety causes stomach aches, and they may even suffer the occasional panic attack. As a Licensed Psychologist with a doctoral degree from KU, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings for 22 years. Before my PHD, I received a Masters of Nursing degree at KU and worked as a nurse practitioner. Using behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused therapies, I try to quickly identify your issues. Together, we can decide the issues you want to work on and set goals. In a relaxing and calming office, I try to provide an understanding and non-judgmental environment.

Dr. Jerry Morris is a Psychologist in Missouri who has been practicing since 1978. He has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a post doctorate degree in clinical psychopharmacology, post doctorate specialty boards in Family and Couples Psychology, Medical Psychology, Behavioral Psychology, School Psychology, Case Management and Addictions Therapy, and an MBA in Management. Dr. Morris is a senior diagnostician and psychotherapist with multiple specialties and certifications in most major techniques. Outside of work, Dr. Morris enjoys mountain hiking, musician, and is an author.

I am Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the states of Kansas and Missouri. In addition to being in private practice, I teach a graduate course at the University of Kansas as well as provide guidance and therapy skills to graduate level students at Friends University. I specialize in couples therapy and maternal mental health. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which I use with my in my trauma work.
