I believe that you can find hope in a lot places. You can see it in a stranger's smile, feel it in a parent's embrace, or hear it in the sweet sound of an old hymn. More than any other place, I believe we look for hope in our relationships. Unfortunately, the reality for most of us is that our relationships are where we find our greatest pain. Whether we have been hurt or maybe we have done the hurting, the pain of disconnection, rejection and abandonment leave their mark on our lives.

My passion is helping people achieve healthy relationships that honor, strengthen, and validate the people in them. I enjoy helping young men and women to build significant and open relationships on their way through dating and engagement as well as working with them on tools to address the conflict in their marriage. Often times unchecked anxiety leads to depression and I have many effective tools for people who struggle in attending to their anxiety in an effective way. I work with addictions of all kinds in a non shaming, caring, effective, and healing way.

Whether it be preparing for the journey ahead, taking stock of what happened in the past, or figuring out what is happening in the now, a place to check-in and be heard should be available to everyone. Being able to talk openly about yourself and all that entails, whether it be your identity, what's troubling you, and how you want to move forward, is something I wish to harbor in therapy.

My clients are sensitive, smart, and creative, but may find these strengths difficult to access and manage. As a result you may feel disconnected, anxious, and depressed. You may self medicate with alcohol, drugs, or food. I help people reconnect with themselves and use their strengths to build the lives they want and deserve.

My passion is families, the building block upon which society is built. By healing families, we heal the world. I specialize in couples therapy, which improves not only the couple but the entire family as a result. I specialize in working with teenagers, helping them with depression, social anxiety, and life coaching. I specialize in treating trauma, a taxing burden that no one should have to carry through life, a burden that sadly so often goes untreated.

She is passionate about helping clients transform relationships, overcome grief and trauma, and significantly improve quality of life. She has worked with diverse clients, providing care in settings from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to outpatient substance use programs. Her dedication to clients is matched by her commitment to professional development. In addition to offering psychotherapy, she also provides clinical supervision to colleagues wanting to enhance their skills and advance their careers.

Sometimes life's circumstances have a way of beating you down to the point you don't even recognize yourself. The pain that comes with depression, anxiety, shame, broken relationships, or whatever may be the root of your suffering, can be completely overwhelming. This can feel like an impossible task for you, but you do not have to do this alone. I want to help you discover yourself once again.

Everyone is doing the best that they can. But, often, "our best" feels far from what we imagine our best life to be. For so many, no matter what or how hard they try, they are stuck in patterns that don't change. This can lead to self-condemnation, shame and a loss of hope. In some cases, the problems began after an illness (like Covid) or a concussion. What if I told you that maybe its not "you." Maybe its your brain.
