I am a clinical social worker licensed in Missouri with over 20 years of experience working as a therapist, leading and directing behavioral health clinics and specialty programs. I have provided comprehensive counseling and case management services for a full spectrum of mental health needs including depression and anxiety, substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship concerns, parenting and child issues, career challenges, transition and change, resiliency, stress management, sleep hygiene, and health concerns.

Angela is a Christian Psychotherapist Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II). Highly trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Her passion is centered on relationships, and helping families move forward in a healthy, productive way with a solution-focus. Angela's goal is to help clients explore the complex dramas that occur during and after their relationship to help them identify and transform negative processes and interaction patterns that are preventing progress, whatever the desired direction.

I earned my MSW degree from Fordham University, New York City, and doctorate in Clinical Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I have almost 40 years of both clinical practice and teaching experience. I am a strong believer in the power of each person to effect change in their own lives, given the tools with which to work. I am a nationally certified sex therapist (aka tons of training) and specialize in sexual health issues such as little to no interest in sex, men's and women's sex concerns, erectile dysfunction, sexual pain, infidelity, sexual identity, midlife and post-menopausal issues.
