Kindness and Curiosity is the way to approach the issues that are holding us back. My goal is to help people understand the what and why that is leading to depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, etc. This can look different foreach person. As we work together, we will determine the best method to help you and come up with a plan to identify the skills and actions to help you reach that goal.

Do you or your teen struggle to control racing thoughts or worries? Do you feel hopeless or alone? Maybe you’re tired of being stuck in old patterns and don't know where to turn to next. This can be very unsettling, and often common for teens and young adults. Sometimes leading to anger outbursts or guilt, the cycle continues.

Many of my clients struggle with worry, fear, self-doubt, and depression. They may struggle with daily functioning due to chronic trauma responses. They find themselves stuck in uncomfortable relational or personal cycles without a clear path forward. They sometimes understand what has led to these cycles but they just can't seem to change it. My clients often tell me they want to feel better in their mind and body, and hope to strengthen their connections in healthy relationships. I work with families, couples, and individuals. Life is a beautiful mess we all deserve to navigate with love and compassion for ourselves and others.

Does asking for help feel . . . awkward? uncomfortable? unnecessary? For many of my clients, asking for help is a challenge. They're used to being the helpers. They tell themselves countless reasons why they don't need help- they should just get over it/They're fine/it's not that bad/It could be so much worse/Others have it so much worse/They just need to be patient/They should wait-and-see . . . and time passes, but not their worries and concerns, and nothing seems to get resolved.

The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same things over and over again while expecting a different outcome, and sadly, many people who have good intentions and are working hard to address their life challenges are stuck in the same destructive thoughts and behaviors. We often feel overwhelmed by what life throws at us, such as parenting stress, relationship or family conflicts, grief, job related issues or trauma, and get stuck in negative responses. Together we can find a plan and path that promotes growth, changing thoughts and behaviors and allowing for positive outcomes.
